About Lynda Warren
Hello! I’m Lynda Warren, LMSW. I have been counseling for over 20 years and have experience helping clients navigate a wide variety of life’s challenges. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, both in Social Work.
I specialize in substance abuse, overcoming anxiety and depression, and interpersonal relationships. I am passionate about helping people communicate in healthy ways and teaching skills that enhance personal well-being, relationships, and communication. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients on their journey to better mental health. Trust between a client and counselor is critical, and I work hard to earn and maintain that trust.
I realized years ago that helping people is a calling. As society evolves and lives become more complex, I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help clients understand distorted thinking patterns and develop effective problem-solving methods. In my practice, I incorporate real-life examples, personal experiences, and a healthy dose of humor.
